Can’t be there for someone’s birthday? Send a Save me some cake card to anyone in isolation and celebrate from afar during social distancing. That is, if they’ve managed to find eggs and flour to bake one! The card is blank inside, and if you can’t get to the post box right now I can hand write your message and send it directly to them – just leave your message in the order notes at checkout.
10p from the sale of every social distancing card will go to New Horizons Youth Centre. New Horizons support thousands of vulnerable young people experiencing homelessness in London. Young rough sleepers have been hit particularly hard by the pandemic, often falling outside of support because they aren’t known to street outreach teams.
The Rainbow Brights range also includes a handy 6 pack of any-occasion cards to help you stay connected during social distancing. I think we’re all going to need little pick-me-ups over the next few months.
The save me some cake card and envelope are produced in the UK from FSC-certified paper and the card has not been laminated, so is fully recyclable. All cards/multipacks are posted in a recycled cardboard envelope with no plastic packaging. If you order one to be sent directly to the recipient I will post it in it’s envelope.
I have a strict system of sanitising my hands whilst packing up orders, and am using water rather than licking envelopes. A study has found that the Covid-19 virus can survive for up to 24 hours on paper and card and up to 2-3 days on plastic and stainless-steel surfaces. There’s a useful article here if you’d like more information.
The A6 card is supplied with a coloured envelope and is blank inside, so there’s plenty of space for your message.
