Supplied on a recycled backing card, it makes a lovely present. Made from 3mm FSC-certified beech plywood, UV printed and laser cut. UV printed and laser cut with a white undercoat which means the colours really pop.

Because Birch Plywood is a natural material the colour, grain, and texture of the wood can vary from sheet to sheet. You might also notice a charred effect and ‘smoky’ smell from the laser cutting process. I think it adds to their charm.

Each Ice cream pin badge is sent out on a recycled cardboard backing pin with a rubber backer. I try to keep my packaging to a minimum, so I don't wrap them in additional cellophane. The backing card and protective postal packaging are both fully recyclable and plastic free - happy days!

All the wood used is fast growing and sourced from FSC certified suppliers, which means that the forests are being maintained for future generations and the inks used are solvent free.

Wooden pin badges use between 20 and 24 times less energy than enamel badges to produce! And Alphablots pins are made in the UK, so they have a much smaller footprint than those made abroad and then shipped over.
