The letters are printed and laser cut from 6mm beech plywood, which is solid and very hard wearing. I've had mine on my keys for over a year and it's still going strong. The plywood is FSC-certified which means it comes from forests that are being conserved for future generations. The trees are grown in Wales within forty miles of the workshop where they're made, so their footprint is as small as possible. Please be aware that due to the nature of plywood there may be variations in grain and a slight charred effect around the edges which is normal when laser cutting natural materials – the heat from the laser singes the wood and gives it a nice dark colour and slightly smoky smell.
